Age Criteria

• Candidates must be born between 01 January 2005 and 01 July 2009 (both dates included).
• Maximum age at the time of enrollment should not exceed 21 years.

Educational Qualification

For Science Stream Candidates

• 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics & English with minimum 50% marks overall and 50% in English

OR

• 3 Years Diploma in Engineering (relevant trades) with minimum 50% marks

OR

• 2 Years Vocational Course with Physics & Maths with 50% marks

For Other Than Science Stream

• 10+2 in any stream with 50% aggregate marks and 50% in English

OR

• 2 Years Vocational Course with required percentage

Physical Fitness Test (PFT)

Candidates who clear the Online Exam will be shortlisted for Physical Fitness Test. The list of selected candidates will be published on the CASB portal and they will be called to the Airmen Selection Centre (ASC) for further tests. The PFT is divided into two stages: PFT-I and PFT-II.

Stage 1: PFT-I (Running Test)

To qualify for the next round, candidates must complete a 1.6 Km run within the given time:

Only those who pass this running test will move to the next stage.

Stage 2: PFT-II (Physical Exercises)

After qualifying PFT-I, candidates will get 10 minutes rest before starting PFT-II.

For Male Candidates

• 10 Push-ups – 1 Minute
• 10 Sit-ups – 1 Minute
• 20 Squats – 1 Minute

(Short break will be given between each exercise.)

For Female Candidates

• 10 Sit-ups – 1 Minute 30 Seconds
• 15 Squats – 1 Minute

Note – Candidates must bring sports shoes and track pants/shorts. Proper exercise technique must be followed Detailed guidelines are available on the official CASB website.

Salary & Benefits

• 1st Year: ₹30,000 per month
• 4th Year: ₹40,000 per month
• Seva Nidhi after 4 Years: Around ₹10.04 Lakhs + interest
• Life Insurance Cover: ₹48 Lakhs

Selection Process

1. Online Written Examination
2. Physical Fitness Test (1.6 Km Run + Exercises)
3. Medical Examination

Negative Marking: 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
