Ishan Uday Scholarship 2025 – Online Apply for NER Students
Good news for students of North East India!
The University Grants Commission (UGC) has launched the Ishan Uday Scholarship Scheme 2025 to support students from the North Eastern Region (NER) in continuing higher education. Every year, 10,000 new scholarships are awarded to students pursuing general, technical, and professional courses, including medical and paramedical fields.

Main Objectives of the Scheme

Eligibility Criteria of Ishan Uday Scholarship 2025-

🚫 Not Eligible:
- Students studying through open/distance mode
- Students already getting any other scholarship
- Students admitted under management quota
- Students pursuing diploma-level courses

- Go to the official NSP website.
- Click on “One-Time Registration” to create your profile.
- Fill in your personal and academic details.
- Upload required documents.
- Submit the form and take a printout for reference.
Note: OTR (One-Time Registration) is mandatory and valid for your entire academic career.

Selection Process of Ishan Uday Scholarship 2025-
- Total Slots: 10,000 per year
- Distribution: Based on population of NER states
- Vacant Slots: If any state has unfilled slots, they’ll be re-distributed among others
