State Bank of India (SBI) has announced the result of the Probationary Officer (PO) Preliminary Examination 2025. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now check their results online through the official SBI portal.

State Bank of India is recruiting for 541 Probationary Officer (PO) vacancies across various categories. The recruitment process involves Prelims, Mains, and Interview stages.

Important Dates
- Online application started: 24th June 2025
- Last date of application: 14th July 2025
- Prelims exam: 2nd, 4th & 5th August 2025

Eligibility Criteria
- Age Limit: 21 to 30 years as on 01.04.2025 (relaxation for reserved categories as per rules).
- Educational Qualification: Graduation in any discipline from a recognised university. Final year students may also apply.
Selection Process of SBI PO Recruitment 2025
The selection of candidates for SBI Probationary Officer posts will be carried out in three phases:
1. Preliminary Examination (Phase I):
- Online objective test of 100 marks.
- Consists of English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning Ability.
- Duration: 1 hour with separate timing for each section.
2. Main Examination (Phase II):
- Conducted online, consisting of Objective Test (200 marks) and Descriptive Test (50 marks).
- Objective Test includes Reasoning, Computer Aptitude, Data Analysis, General/Economy/Banking Awareness, and English Language.
- Descriptive Test checks communication skills like Essay, Report, and Precis Writing.
3. Interview & Group Exercise (Phase III):
- Candidates shortlisted after Mains will be called for the final phase.
- This may include a Psychometric Test for personality profiling.
- Group Exercises (20 marks) and Interview (30 marks) will be conducted.
- Final selection will be based on performance in all three phases.
Pay Scale
Selected candidates will get an attractive pay package in the range of Rs. 48,480 – Rs. 85,920 plus allowances.
