Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the official notification for the SSC Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination, 2026. Through this recruitment, SSC will fill approximately 2536 Group C posts of LDC/JSA and Data Entry Operator (DEO) in various Ministries, Departments and Offices of the Government of India.

Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit
The candidate’s age should be 18 to 27 years as on 1 August 2026.
Candidates should be born between 2 August 1999 and 1 August 2008, both dates inclusive.

Age relaxation is available for reserved categories as per Government of India rules.

Educational Qualification
For most SSC CHSL posts, candidates must have passed Class 12th or equivalent examination from a recognized Board.
For DEO/DEO Grade ‘A’ in specified departments, candidates must have passed 12th Standard in Science stream with Mathematics as a subject.
Candidates appearing in their Class 12th examination can also apply, but they must possess the required qualification by 7 October 2026.
