Eligibility Criteria Details
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 24 years (as on 31.01.2026) for General/EWS candidates
- Age relaxation applicable for reserved categories as per Govt. rules

- 3 Years B.Sc (Maths, Physics, Chemistry / Industrial Chemistry)
Trade Apprentice (Boiler):
- 3 Years B.Sc (Maths, Physics, Chemistry / Industrial Chemistry)
Technician Apprentice – Chemical:
- 3 Years Diploma in Chemical / Petrochemical / Chemical Technology / Refinery & Petrochemical Engineering
Technician Apprentice – Mechanical:
- 3 Years Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Technician Apprentice – Instrumentation:
- 3 Years Diploma in Instrumentation / Instrumentation & Electronics / Instrumentation & Control / Applied Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering
How to Apply for IOCL Apprentice Recruitment
STEP 1:
Candidates must register on the respective portal:
- Trade Apprentice (NAPS):
Register at apprenticeshipindia.gov.in - Technician Apprentice (NATS):
Register at nats.education.gov.in
After registration, search for IOCL Apprenticeship, select the trade and apply carefully.
STEP 2:
After applying through NAPS / NATS, candidates must MANDATORILY fill the Microsoft Form available on IOCL official website.
Submit only one response in the Microsoft Form.
