Only one family member of Assam Rifles personnel can apply if the personnel is:
- Killed in action
- Died during service
- Discharged on medical grounds
- Missing in service
Eligible Family Members:
- Spouse
- Son / Daughter (including adopted)
- Brother / Sister (in special cases)
