RRB ALP Salary 2026
Selected candidates for Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) post will get salary under Level-2 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix.
- Starting Basic Pay: ₹19,900/- per month
- Along with salary, candidates will also get DA, HRA, TA and other railway allowances.

Candidates age must be between:

- Electronics Mechanic
- Wireman
- Mechanic (Diesel)
- Turner
- Machinist
- Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Mechanic
- Tractor Mechanic
- Motor Vehicle Mechanic and others.
OR
Option 2: Apprenticeship
10th Pass + Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in related trades.
OR
Option 3: Diploma/Engineering
10th Pass + 3 Years Diploma in:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Electronics Engineering
- Automobile Engineering
Note: Engineering Degree holders are also eligible.
