Eligible candidates can apply online for the Pre-Entry Test (PET) 2026 to take admission into the 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) course for the academic session 2026–2028.

What is Assam D.El.Ed Admission 2026?
SCERT Assam conducts the Pre-Entry Test (PET) every year for admission into the 2-year D.El.Ed course. This course is available in recognized Teacher Education Institutes like DIET, CTE, Normal School, BTC and Private TEIs across Assam.
After completing this course, candidates can build a career in the teaching sector, especially at the elementary school level.
Eligibility Criteria for Assam D.El.Ed Admission 2026

Only permanent residents of Assam can apply for this admission process.
2. Educational Qualification
Candidates must have passed Higher Secondary (HS/12th) or equivalent examination from a recognized board with:
