The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the notification for SSC CPO Recruitment 2026. Through this recruitment, SSC will select candidates for the post of Sub-Inspector (SI) in Delhi Police and various Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs).

Selected candidates for SSC CPO Sub-Inspector posts will receive Pay Level-6 salary.

Educational Qualification

SI in Delhi Police / SI (GD) in CAPFs

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised university or an equivalent qualification.

Candidates who are appearing in their final year of graduation may also apply, subject to the conditions mentioned in the official notification.

SI (Fire) in CISF

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Science with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognised university or equivalent.

Candidates may also be eligible with the required Matriculation qualification and three-year diploma in the specified engineering fields, as mentioned in the official notification.

Driving Licence for Delhi Police SI

Male candidates applying for Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police should have a valid Driving Licence for LMV (Motorcycle and Car).

SSC CPO Exam Pattern
