DEE Assam Recruitment 2025 – Apply Online for 228 Special Educator Posts
Directorate of Elementary Education (DEE), Assam has released a job notification for the recruitment of 228 Special Educator posts in Lower Primary (LP) and Upper Primary (UP) schools across Assam. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through the official website. The last date to apply is 30th September 2025.
DEE Assam Vacancy 2025 Details
- Post Name: Special Educator
- Total Vacancies: 228 posts
- LP Schools: 120 posts
- UP Schools: 108 posts
Pay Scale:
- LP Schools: ₹14,000 – ₹70,000 + Grade Pay ₹7,400
- UP Schools: ₹14,000 – ₹70,000 + Grade Pay ₹8,700
Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit (as on 01/08/2025):
- General: 18 to 40 years
- OBC/MOBC: Up to 43 years
- SC/ST: Up to 45 years
- Ex-Servicemen: Up to 42 years
- PwD: Up to 50 years
Family Norms: Candidates must not have more than two living children on or after 01.01.2021.
Citizenship: Must be an Indian citizen and a permanent resident of Assam.
Educational Qualification
For LP Schools:
- Senior Secondary (Class 12) with at least 50% marks
- 2-year Diploma in Special Education (RCI recognized)
- ATET or CTET certificate for LP level
For UP Schools:
- Graduation with at least 50% marks
- B.Ed. in Special Education (RCI recognized)
- ATET or CTET certificate for UP level
Note: The Language paper in ATET/CTET must match the medium of instruction of the school applied for.
