Eligibility Criteria
Nationality:
Candidate must be an Indian citizen. Domicile/PRC of the selected State or UT is mandatory.
Age Limit (as on 01-01-2026):
Minimum age is 18 years and maximum age is 23 years.
Date of birth should be between 02 January 2003 to 01 January 2008.
Age Relaxation:
SC/ST – 5 years
OBC – 3 years
Ex-Servicemen – 3 years
Educational Qualification:
Candidate must have passed Class 10 (Matriculation) from a recognized board on or before 01 January 2026.
Application Fee
- General / OBC candidates have to pay ₹100
- SC / ST / Women / Ex-Servicemen candidates are exempted from fee
Fee can be paid through UPI, Net Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card or SBI Challan.

Selection Process
The selection will be done in the following stages:
- Computer Based Examination (CBE)
- Physical Standard Test (PST)
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Medical Examination (DME/RME)
- Document Verification
Computer Based Examination Details
- Total questions: 80 MCQs
- Total marks: 160
- Exam duration: 60 minutes
- Negative marking: 0.25 marks for each wrong answer
- Exam level: Class 10 standard
- Exam mode: Online
Subjects included are Reasoning, General Knowledge & Awareness, Mathematics, and English or Hindi.
Physical Standard & Efficiency Test Details
Height (General Category):
Male – 170 cm
Female – 157 cm
(Relaxation available for ST, NE states, Assam and hill area candidates)
Chest (Only for Male):
Un-expanded – 80 cm
Minimum expansion – 5 cm
PET Race:
Male (Other regions) – 5 km in 24 minutes
Female (Other regions) – 1.6 km in 8½ minutes
Medical Examination
Candidates who qualify PST and PET will be called for Medical Examination as per CAPFs and MHA medical rules.
