IBPS RRB Recruitment 2026 – 13,706 Officer & Office Assistant Posts, Apply Online
The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the official notification for IBPS CRP RRBs-XV 2026. Through this recruitment, IBPS will fill a total of 13,706 vacancies for Office Assistant (Multipurpose) and Officer Scale-I, Scale-II & Scale-III posts in Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) across India.
The online application process has started from 1 September 2026, and eligible candidates can apply online up to 21 September 2026. The application and fee payment are to be completed online through the IBPS recruitment portal.

Which Posts Are Available?
1. Office Assistant (Multipurpose)
This is commonly known as the RRB Clerk post.
Candidates generally need a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline along with the prescribed local-language proficiency. Knowledge of computers is desirable.
2. Officer Scale-I
This is the Assistant Manager level post.
Candidates need a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline. Preference may be given to candidates having qualifications in areas such as Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, IT, Management, Law, Economics and Accountancy.
3. Officer Scale-II
Officer Scale-II includes both General Banking Officer and specialist posts such as:

- Information Technology Officer
- Chartered Accountant
- Law Officer
- Treasury Manager
- Marketing Officer
- Agriculture Officer
The educational qualification and required experience are different for each specialist post.
4. Officer Scale-III
This is the Senior Manager level post and requires the prescribed educational qualification along with relevant banking/financial institution experience.

Note – A candidate can apply for Office Assistant as well as one Officer post.
However, a candidate cannot apply for multiple Officer posts. For example, you cannot apply for Officer Scale-I, Scale-II and Scale-III together. You have to select only one Officer post.
