IGNOU B.Ed Admission 2026 – Online Application
Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has released the official notification for B.Ed. Admission 2026. The new B.Ed. batch will start from January 2026. IGNOU will held an Entrance Test for admission to the B.Ed. course. This entrance exam will be held across India. The minimum duration of the B.Ed. programme is 2 years, and the maximum time allowed to complete the course is 5 years. Eligible and interested candidates can apply online for IGNOU B.Ed Admission from 29 January 2026 through the official IGNOU website.

Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit:
- No age limit
Educational Qualification:
- Minimum 50% marks in Graduation or Post Graduation (Science / Social Science / Commerce / Humanities)
- OR Engineering/Technology degree with Science & Mathematics (55% marks)
Eligible Categories:
- Trained in-service teachers (Elementary Education)
- Candidates with NCTE recognized teacher education (face-to-face mode)
Entrance Test:
- Must qualify IGNOU B.Ed Entrance Test
Note: Candidates who completed DELED along with Graduation/Masters simultaneously are not eligible.
