The Directorate of Employment and Craftsmen Training (DECT), Assam has officially started the online application process for Assam ITI Admission 2026. Eligible candidates can apply online for admission into Government and Private Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) across Assam for the academic session 2026-27.
Students who have passed Class 8, Class 10, or Class 12 can apply for different ITI trades according to the required qualification.

What is Assam ITI Admission 2026?
The Directorate of Employment and Craftsmen Training (DECT), Assam conducts the ITI Admission process every year for admission into various technical and vocational trades offered by Government and Private ITIs of Assam.
Candidates can take admission into NCVT Trades, SCVT Trades, SCVT under IMC and NCVT under IMC courses. After completing the course, students can get technical skills and improve their employment opportunities in various industries.

Seats will be allotted based on merit rank, reservation category and availability of seats.
Admission
Candidates must take admission within the given schedule after allotment of seats. Otherwise, their allotted seat will be cancelled.
