AAU Admission 2026 Eligibility Criteria
For UG Courses
Age Limit
Candidates must be at least 16 years old as on 1 August 2026.
Educational Qualification
For Agriculture, Horticulture, Sericulture & Integrated Biotechnology Courses
Candidates must pass Higher Secondary (10+2) with any one of the following combinations:
- Physics, Chemistry & Biology (PCB)
- Physics, Chemistry & Agriculture (PCAg)
- Biology, Chemistry & Agriculture (BCAg)
Minimum Marks Required

PG Admission Selection Process
Admission to Master’s programmes will be based on:
- ICAR AIEEA (PG) 2026 Score
- GAT-B 2026 Score (for Biotechnology-related courses)
AAU may also conduct a Common Entrance Test (CET) for eligible candidates if seats remain vacant after NTA-based admission.

- Be from the Science stream (10+2).
- Have Permanent Residence Certificate (PRC) of Assam.
- Students from NER states can apply for HFC seats.

- Children of Defence/Paramilitary personnel serving in Assam for at least one year are also eligible.
