HS 1st Year Online Admission 2026 – Check Merit List @ Darpan Portal
Students who passed the HSLC Examination 2026 can now apply for HS 1st Year (Class 11) admission through the DARPAN Online Admission Portal. This online system is launched by the Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB), Division-II for the academic session 2026-2027.
Through this portal, students can apply for admission in Higher Secondary Schools, Senior Secondary Schools, Colleges and Universities across Assam. The entire admission process including application, merit list and seat allotment will be done online. Students are allowed to select maximum 5 institutions while submitting the online application form.

Assam HS Admission 2026 Portal
The DARPAN Portal is the official platform used for admission into HS 1st Year courses in Assam. All institutions such as colleges, HS schools and senior secondary schools can register and update their profiles through this portal.
Institutions that have recently received academic permission from ASSEB but are not yet registered must create their institution profile using the token number sent through SMS.
Students who want admission in Arts, Commerce, Science or Vocational streams must apply online through this portal.
How to Apply for HS 1st Year Admission 2026?
Students who want to take admission in Class 11 (HS 1st Year) can follow these simple steps.

Step 2: Click on the HS 1st Year Online Admission link.
Step 3: Click on Register a New Account.
Step 4: Enter your personal and educational details.
Step 5: Upload passport size photo and HSLC marksheet.
Step 6: Create a 4-digit login PIN and complete registration.
Step 7: Login again using your mobile number and PIN.
Step 8: Select your preferred course and institutions (maximum 5).
Step 9: Submit the application form and take a printout.
Step 10: Regularly check the portal for merit list and admission updates.

Assam HS 1st Year Admission Merit List 2026
The HS 1st Year Merit List 2026 will be published on the DARPAN Portal by the respective colleges and schools.
The merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the HSLC / AHM Examination. Students can check whether they are selected or not through their Darpan portal dashboard.
