The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB), under the Ministry of Railways, Govt. of India, has released CEN No. 01/2025 for the recruitment of 9970 Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) posts across various RRB zones.

✅ Eligibility Criteria
🎂 Age Limit (As on 1st July 2025):
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 30 years
🧓 Age Relaxation:

🎓 Educational Qualification:
Candidates must possess one of the following:
A) Matriculation/SSLC + ITI (NCVT/SCVT) in relevant trades such as:
Fitter, Electrician, Mechanic Diesel, Wireman, Machinist, etc.
OR
Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in the above trades
OR
B) 3-Year Diploma in:
Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Automobile Engineering
OR
Degree in the above disciplines (accepted in lieu of diploma)
🏃 Physical & Medical Standards
- Medical Standard: A1
- Physical Standard: Fit in all respects
- Vision Requirement:
- Distance: 6/6, 6/6 (without glasses)
- Near: 0.6, 0.6 (without glasses)
- Must qualify Color Vision, Binocular Vision, Night Vision, Field Vision, etc.
