Assam Veterinary Recruitment 2026 Salary
Candidates selected for the Veterinary Field Assistant post will receive a pay scale of:
₹14,000 – ₹70,000 + Grade Pay ₹6,200

Who Can Apply for Assam VFA Recruitment?
Candidates need to fulfil the required educational qualification, age and residency conditions before applying.
Educational Qualification
The candidate must have passed HSSLC (Science) with Biology as a subject from a recognized Board/Council.

Assam Veterinary Recruitment Selection Process
The selection of candidates will be done through an OMR-based written examination.
The examination will be of 100 marks, with 100 questions, and candidates will get 120 minutes to complete the exam.

The training will be conducted at the School of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry, Assam, Ghungoor, Silchar, or its extended campuses under the Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Department.
Candidates must successfully complete and pass this training before they can be appointed to the post.
