Selection Process – Gauhati High Court JAA Recruitment
The recruitment process will be conducted in below three stages:
Stage I: Written Examination

Syllabus :–
- General English – 50 marks
- General Knowledge (incl. Computer) – 30 marks
- General Aptitude – 20 marks
- Assamese Language – 20 marks (Qualifying only; need 8 marks)
Note:
Assamese language marks will not be added to merit list.
Shortlisting:
Candidates will be shortlisted in 1:5 ratio for Stage II (Computer Skill Test).
Stage II: Computer Skill Test (35 Marks)
- Typing Test – 20 Marks
- Typing speed & accuracy (WPM/net speed) in a typing software.
- Word Processor & Spreadsheet – 15 Marks
Shortlisting for Stage III:
Candidates will be shortlisted in 1:3 ratio for Viva-Voce.
Stage III: Viva-Voce (15 Marks)
Final Merit Calculation (Out of 150 Marks):
- Written Test: 100 Marks
- Computer Skill Test: 35 Marks
- Viva-Voce: 15 Marks
Selection will be done district-wise based on total marks.
